We are delighted to welcome Jamie to the team at Mattair as our new Project Engineer. With over 16 years experience of working in the industry, Jamie brings with him a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of air conditioning, refrigeration and heat pumps, together with his ability to work on the more complicated systems such as VRF and Chillers.

In his role as Project Engineer, Jamie will use his technical knowledge and experience to liaise between our customers and engineers ensuring all jobs run smoothly, efficiently and on time.

New Vans

Ian Fisher F.Inst.R – Technical Sales Director at Mattair Maintenance Ltd – Joint Winner of RAC’s ‘Individual Achievement of the Year’ Award 2021.

We are delighted to announce that Ian Fisher, who recently joined the team at Mattair as Technical Sales Director, was the joint winner of the RAC’s Cooling Industry Awards 2021 in the category of ‘Individual Achievement of the Year’, alongside James Bailey.

Whilst the nomination for the award recognises his achievements with his previous employer, we fully support Ian continuing his work with the Institute of Refrigeration as well as his role as a STEM Ambassador. STEM Ambassadors volunteer their time to inspire young people to progress further in STEM subjects through delivering a range of activities from career talks to practical workshops.

As Ian said “I’ve been a Stem Ambassador now for over 7 years and for much of time thought I was alone in our industry doing it, but that’s not so, I’m part of a fantastic group of people recently headed up by the IOR Institute of Refrigeration who have also played a large role in my journey. Let’s keep just doing what we do and try our best to put RACHP on the radar as a career choice for the next generation”
