In the latest step in the company’s growth plans, the website for leading furnace servicing specialists Vacuum & Atmosphere Services has been relaunched to promote its high-quality products and services.

The new website showcases the full breadth of expertise, products and services offered by Vacuum & Atmosphere Services, sharing their recent successes and demonstrating the team’s commitment to exceptional end-to-end customer service.

Based in Smethwick, VAS is a trusted partner for leading brands such as Mercedes, GE Power, Moog and Collins Aerospace and recognised as an engineering company run by engineers.

VAS was launched in 2000 by two engineers to offer vacuum and atmosphere furnace services and has progressed to employ 35 people and offer the full-service package for the heat treatment industry, ranging from bespoke new furnaces to spare parts.

This year has become an official partner for industrial furnace manufacturer Nabertherm GmbH to act as the provider of after-care and other complementary services, secured ISO 17025 which enables holders to demonstrate that they operate competently and generate valid results and acquired distributor and stockist of industrial vacuum pump spares Vacuum Pump Spares Limited.

STRONG POSITION

The business has placed significant investment in its people and places the impact of high quality apprenticeships at the centre of its plans for future success.

Former apprentice Morgan Harper was recently recognised as a finalist at the Express & Star Apprenticeship Awards in the engineering and manufacturing category.
